I tend to stay within the core groups and use them for very deliberate reasons, within a plan. This way I understand how to grow them, why I should care and how I am doing. So far my experiment is staying on course and my hypothesis seems to be holding. It is building relationships and getting us more exposure.
As a result of this I have given classes to beginners on how to jumpstart their social networking plans and it has been well recieved.
